The Veterans Section
Our Veterans Section at Forest Lawn Memorial Park is a special site dedicated to all veterans and their families, thus allowing the entire family to be buried together. The Veterans Section is unique because here a veteran and their family may choose the form of burial that best suits their individual wishes. Some families choose traditional ground burial while others may prefer above ground in the Veterans Feature Mausoleum or the option of placement in one of the special Veterans Cremation Niche locations. In our Veterans Section the veterans traditional ground burial space is free, however a fee for perpetual care applies. If they prefer above ground entombment in the Veterans Feature Mausoleum or one of our special Veteran Cremation Niche locations, the veteran will receive a discount equal to the current veteran ground space value.

Memorial Gardens
Nestled among the trees and just south of the East West Connector. Once you enter the grounds, those highways seem to fade in the distance as two large memorial gardens provide a real sense of tranquility surrounding you with numerous statues and ornamental features. Testimonials
"My in-laws are interred at Oak Lawn, but I had lost that information over the years. Now my adult son is travelling between Atlanta and NC and wanted to stop by to see them. The folks at Forrest Lawn were VERY HELPFUL in getting me to the right address and even capturing an image of Oak Lawn to send to my son while he's travelling north on I-85. A special moment enabled by special people! Thanks so much!"
- Bill T.
